Hotel concept

We have been committed to providing outstanding hospitality since 1884. A relaxing atmosphere, Valais tradition and the flair of the English Belle Époque are what make our design hotel special - a temporary home for travellers, adventurers and homesick Valais natives. The heart of our hotel is the warmly comfortable Wohnstuba, which has a kitchen, a wine refrigerator and an honesty bar. Our boutique hotel is a place to meet and relax – for conversation, a glass of wine, a jointly prepared meal, or a good book from our library. There is of course free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

The future is Swisstainable.

We will focus on helping our guests to enjoy nature and experience the authentic Valais. We will eliminate single-use plastic and pamper our guests with regional and seasonal products. Stay tuned for more.
